September 27, 2014: Every fall rehabilitated raptors are released from the Carpenter Nature Center in Hastings, MN right where the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers meet. These raptors have been rehabed at the Raptor Center in Minneapolis. They are released during the fall to join other raptors who are migrating south for the winter. This area is know as a Migration Flyway. Hundreds of people witnessed 7 raptors released on this day.
